Father, Creator of all, thank You for summer! Thank you for the warmth of the sun and the increased daylight.
Thank You for the beauty I see all around me and for the opportunity to be outside and enjoy Your creation.
Thank You for the increased time I have to be with my friends and family. Draw me closer to You this summer. Warm my soul with the awareness of Your presence and light my path with Your Word and Counsel. As I enjoy Your creation, create in me a pure heart and a hunger and a thirst for You. Amen. PRINCE OF PEACE VETERANS:  monthly breakfast meeting is Thursday, June 27. 9:00 am  at Scrambler’s, 1131 E. Republic Road, Springfield.

JULY 6/7 NOISY OFFERING  benefits Lutheran Disaster Response. LDR shares God’s hope, healing
and renewal with people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters within the United States and around the world.

NAME TAG WEEKEND IS JULY 13 & 14! The second Saturday and Sunday of each month is “Name Tag Weekend.” Remember to check your mailslot for your name tag. If you did not find a name tag in your mailslot contact the church office. 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: PoP and Messiah Lutheran Church have set the dates of August 4-8 at Messiah. Children, Age 3-Grade 6 are invited. Dinner for families provided 4:45-5:15 pm; VBS, 5:30-8:00 pm.  Children will go on an amazing "under sea" adventure where they will explore the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. June 30 Bulletin and Worship

The Worship Team has resolved technical issues and weekly live-streaming of the 9:30 am worship on Sundays, resumed May 26, Pentecost Sunday. Additionally, each Sunday worship is recorded, uploaded in a timely matter and archived to the PoP Facebook page.
