If you're new to the Ozarks or a longtime resident looking for a church home we encourage you to discover Prince of Peace via the worldwide web. Worship with us: Saturdays, 5:00 pm (casual) and Sundays, 9:30 am (traditional). Adult Sunday School meets 8:15 am and Children (will not meet Dec 22 & 29). Tueday Night Bible Study resumes January 14 and begins a study on Romans. 

On this day we pray...

God of Love, Your son, Jesus, is your greatest gift to us. He is a sign of your love. Help us walk in that love during the weeks of Advent, as we wait and prepare for his coming. We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.  (Xavier University)

THE TIDINGS - December Newsletter

ADVENT WORSHIP: Wednesdays, December 4, 11 & 18, 7:00 pm. Soup and sandwiches, 6:00 pm. 

DECEMBER 7/8 NOISY OFFERING will benefit Ambassadors for Children (a ministry of the Council of the Churhes of the Ozarks). Provides an opportunity for children in foster care to use their voice, express their personalities, and experience of new clothes, shoes, and essentials. They can also pursue extra-curricular activities and receive needed therapies. 

PoP Veterans monthly breakfast is scheduled for December 19, 9:00 am at Scramblers, 1131 E. Republic Road, Springfield.

CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP: 4:00 (live-streamed) & 7:30 pm. Communion and Candlelight (both 4:00 and 7:30 pm).

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY led y Dave Jahnke begins January 8 at 10:00 am. The study guide is “PARABLES: the Greatest Stories Ever Told” by John White. This will be a twelve-week study concluding on March 26.
